One Consciousness Will Topple Any New World Order / One World Order

As a GenX kid growing up in a supposedly modern democratic republic called The United States of America, and as a journalism and public policy nerd, I remember distinctly when I first began hearing the phrase “New World Order” or “One World Order” as a conceptual frame. George H.W. Bush, former U.S. Senator, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, and 41^st President of the United States; in a landmark speech to a joint session of Congress, utilized the phrase “a New World Order” to discuss an alignment between people and countries from around the world, positioning the United Nations and NATO as vehicles to promote "the principles of justice and fair play ... protect the weak against the strong …"

From there, far right wing Christian nationalist and conservative Christian evangelical televangelist preachers like Pat Robertson began to use the terminology to describe cabals of a supposed global elitist power brokers who had a hidden hand influencing and controlling world events, markets, and nation states. Robertson even wrote an entire book about the subject entitled “The New World Order - A Reality You Cannot Afford to Ignore. A Book You Cannot Afford to Miss.” The book, heavily promoted by Robertson’s Christian Coalition, detailed in meandering and highly-sensationalized declarations, conspiratorial connections between Free Masons, the Illuminati, The Trilateral Commission, the New Age movement, the Council On Foreign Relations, the United Nations, and others, all labeled as agents of Satan that Robertson breathlessly excoriated as committed to eradicating Christianity and collectively working to bring on “The End of Days” apocalypse. This apocalypse, according to the book, would result in the second coming, the return of Jesus Christ to the world.

Robertson sold a lot of those books, and collected millions of dollars in royalties to fuel his lavish lifestyle and televangelism pursuits. Through those platforms he collected a shit-ton of phone bank pledges in cold hard cash to his ministries. It was a great sale that kept giving and giving, having lured in “the folks,” hook, line, and sinker.

Admittedly the reason I remember the terms “New World Order” and “One World Order” can be accredited to a combination of old Poppy Bush’s and Wacky Pat’s versions. The combined concepts inspired an entire conspiracy vision of global elites who were hell-bent on controlling the masses, working people, the average human, through an invisible financial, capitalist, political, neo-fascist, web of manipulation, influence, pressure, and control. The X Files TV show made hundreds of episodes off the storyline. The Wachowski’s made The Matrix movies with a heavy dose of central hidden control as the central message. The concept continued to evolve until today’s time, through many iterations of conspiracy theory lore, often repeated within major social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Threads, Twitter/X, YouTube, and tribalist internet message boards like Reddit.

Now, in the year of 2025 (“...or are we missing 1000 years somewhere? Hello, calling Tartaria!”) we are confronted with a massive toxic brew of nation-state conflicts and war, even more consipiracy theories, political upheaval, structural and institutional decay, more secrets revealed, and an actual decline in actual soft and hard power of nation states around the world. Many old bugaboos who were selling the warning of a rising “New World Order/One World Order” of which the supposed American Deep State is a component, are once again beginning to sing their well-worn End Times tunes. This time they have a whole new twist – that the rise of a technocracy combined with an authoritarian takeover of The United States of America is going to result, eventually, through the specter of a looming nuclear war, alien invasion, or some other unknown hidden force, in a one world governing power, somehow controlled by a Bilderburg or Rothschild-esque hidden shadow power elite cabal.

I am skeptical of much of this, but I have to admit that in the Now I rule nothing out. The past 50 years have shown me that the more I learn, the less I know, and that is a good thing. It also has shown me that the more I turn inward, to spirit, to connection to higher source, to universal love, kindness, and consciousness; the less I am concerned with what happens in global geopolitical events, monetary policy and supposed cryptofascism, or mass enslavement of humanity by AI and surveillance technologies. That said, with all of this global social, structural, institutional, economic, and political upheaval, a key thing that is coming to me as an intuitive message from source is that the global battle by dark forces to attempt a halt in humanity’s global consciousness awakening is currently on, and heating up fast.

The thing is, this battle for consciousness awareness comes from a place and a space that is completely beyond the reach of a cabal or a global elite. It is happening at the infinite space time beyond who/what/where/when/why/how most of humanity is even able to conceptualize and comprehend. We are but mere ants in the hill, and we have such little understanding as a species of what we are experiencing on this planet that literally only a very small few human beings actually have the extra watts of brain power coupled with the extra sensory clairvoyance of spirit to truly wrap their beingness around it. Some have gotten close, but even experts and masters like Carl Sagan, The Dalai Llama, Stephen Hawking, Eckhart Tolle, Ringyur Rinpoche, Pema Chodron, Neil deGrass Tyson, and Dennis McKenna cannot agree on exactly what is going on.

Truth is, it really doesn’t matter.

Regardless of how the battle frames out in actual current reality, there is one concept that really must be acknowledged. Millions of individual beings on this planet, each whom feel we are connected beings at the level of spirituality (as opposed to religiosity), seem to understand at the soul level that eventually all beings are destined to attain awakening of consciousness awareness.

There is a reason that the concept of one consciousness awareness is rising in popularity across all swaths of spirituality, academia, social networks, activist movements, transcending borders and political power bases. There is a reason that it seems like all the light workers of the world suddenly are speaking about a rise in a singular force of something greater than ourselves that is connecting all of us silently, invisibly, in an energetic sense. There is a reason that the terms “one love” and “all are one” seem to be everywhere right now. The woo woo part of this is crossing into the mainstream, in the present Now reality, cascading through culture, and erasing hardened boundaries between previously tribalist orientations and factional identifications, including religious belief systems or political ideologies.

This is not to say that there will not be more suffering. Clearly that is true, there will be. It is foolish to deny a continuation and intensification in individual and mass suffering, pain, anguish, illness, poverty, destruction, war, and secrets revealed, before humans as a species actually reach the point of mass consciousness awareness. The old adage that “it is always darkest before the dawn” is proving to be a prescient turn of phrase thus far. Those whom are aware of this change in the overal spiritual energy environment, the blend of mysticsm and science, the beings who are swimming in the woo in the Now, all seem to feel that part too. All you have to do is look at any internet-based chat group, sit in any universal spirituality discussion or meditation group, or even just casually listen to people in the coffee shop -- you’ll hear different flavors of it in casual conversation. All you have to do is listen, then sit with it without trying to rationalize or label it. You will begin to awaken to it too.

The wave is coming. Are you learning to surf it or will you drown in the tsunami? Either way you will awaken. The “One World Order” or the “New World Order,’ whatever you call the other side...none of it will survive. One Consciousness, the wave of love, equality, justice, acceptance, and unity will rise above all of it. Why? Because at its core it does not come from the external reality. Instead it connects us in all beingness from within, and connected via source energy that no single human or other entity can control. It is us, and we are it, and all of us are going to rise within it.
