Back to Basics
While recovering from July’s forced timeout I decided I needed to reboot my spiritual beingness and sense of daily presence routine. Thanks to my library I will be listening to several audiobooks:
The Art of Living - Thich Nhat Hanh
How to Meditate - Pema Chodron
Chanting Breath By Breath With the Monks & Nuns of Plum Village - Thich Nhat Hanh
Touching the Eternal A Retreat on the Heart of Spiritual Surrender - Eckhart Tolle
Caroline Myss’ Chakra Meditation Music - Stevin McNamara
The Self-Healing Mind - Gregory Scott Brown, MD.
Listening to these, doing daily Tonglen meditations, paired with Dao De Jing chapter readings, are all part of the realignment with my practice. Sitting with the discomfort of having to go slow is also part of the practice.
Anyone out there have a favorite out of these? Drop a comment.
